Federal Grants Awarded For Housing, Revitalization

Thirty five Connecticut towns have been awarded grants through the Small Cities Community Development Block Grant program, administered by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Twenty multifamily housing projects that will replace flood-destroyed housing in Cedar Rapids are in line to receive $18 million in federal funding. Gov. Chet Culver announced Thursday, Sept. 9.
